Nuclear fusion power generation is one of humanity's ultimate pursuits for energy. On Hefei's Science Island, three nuclear fusion devices are under construction and operation, hailed as China's "strongest laboratory" for fusion research. How far is China from achieving its "artificial sun"? The answer lies within this "strongest laboratory".
China's "controllable nuclear fusion team" includes: the fully superconducting tokamak nuclear fusion experimental device (EAST), the compact fusion energy experimental device (BEST), and the comprehensive research facility for key systems of fusion reactor hosts (CRAFT).
During the National Day holiday, the cryostat base of the compact fusion energy experimental device (BEST) was precisely positioned in Hefei, indicating that the device has entered the comprehensive assembly phase. BEST employs a stronger magnetic field to compress the fusion space, planning to demonstrate nuclear fusion power generation by 2030, aiming to "light up the first light with fusion energy". Meanwhile, the comprehensive research facility for key systems of fusion reactor hosts (CRAFT) also witnessed the official delivery of the toroidal field magnet coil box.
It is exciting to note that Far East has once again successfully won the bid for the BEST project, bringing Far East one step closer to its dream of chasing the sun.

As a core component of controllable nuclear fusion devices, special cables need to operate stably under extreme conditions of -269℃ low temperature and 2 million Gy radiation, directly determining the safety and reliability of the device. Tracing back to 2015, the "Hualong One Harsh Environment K1 Class Cable" developed by Far East passed the appraisal by China National Nuclear Corporation, becoming the only product domestically meeting the needs of both domestic and international first units of "Hualong One", with key technical indicators reaching the requirements of the American IEEE383 standard, winning multiple honors such as the "China National Nuclear Corporation Science and Technology Award". As the "invisible guardian" of the "Hualong One" nuclear energy system, Far East has successfully broken through international technical barriers, filled domestic gaps, injected core power into the country's energy transformation, and opened a new pattern for its own development, demonstrating the global competitiveness of "Made in China".
In addition, Far East has also successfully completed projects such as Pakistan's Chashma Nuclear Power Station, Guangxi Fangchenggang Nuclear Power Plant, Qinshan Nuclear Power, Hainan Changjiang, Fujian Fuqing, Jiangsu Tianwan, among others.
Being the "Invisible Guardian" of Nuclear Power Going Global

Currently, the global energy revolution is accelerating: The International Energy Agency predicts that the global nuclear fusion market size will reach $496.55 billion by 2030; China's annual investment in nuclear power exceeds RMB 100 billion, with fourth-generation nuclear power, small modular reactors (SMR), and other new technologies continuously being implemented.
